What we collect
Tone does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The app accesses your device microphone only to analyze pitch in real time. All audio processing happens locally on your device; nothing is recorded, uploaded, or shared with us or any third party.
Microphone access
Microphone access is required for tuning. You can grant or revoke this permission at any time through your device or browser settings. When permission is denied, Tone cannot analyze pitch and will prompt you to enable access.
Cookies and analytics
Tone does not use cookies or analytics trackers. We do not track your usage, store device identifiers, or share data with advertising networks.
Data retention
Because no audio or personal data leaves your device, we have no data to retain or delete. If you uninstall the app, all locally stored preferences are removed along with it.
